Instead
of a normal biography, we interviewed those who know him
best. His sister fled our reporter screaming, “I don’t know who you’re talking
about!” His third grade teacher asked, “Is little Bobby out on probation
already?” The registrar at Stanford said, “Except for the incident with the
volcano, his record was spotty.” His first boss said, “He took up mystery
writing? Good. I had suggested he consider career alternatives.” His wife had
returned to the marriage license bureau seeking a recount. A lot of good that's going to do her in Florida.
After listening to
Elaine Viets talk about alternative series, Bob has completed the first book in
a new series about past lives featuring Queen Victoria on a Vespa motor scooter,
a lecherous Roman general, a party planner, an ax murderer, and a lazy
Newfoundland. In his spare time he runs a small investment banking firm.
